Pyjama Punishment Monthly provides an interesting insight into Miss Fairchild's range of items

During my convalescence, I was flicking through old editions of Pyjama Punishment Monthly when I came across these advertisements placed by Miss Fairchild.

I can’t imagine the embarrassment I would feel if I was to be taken for a fitting of either of these two outfits, although I suspect Miss Bracegirdle would be in favour. 

Hard to believe too that Miss Fairchild has been supplying Little Boy outfits for the Older Boy for twenty years

An old fashioned shop front similar to Miss Fairchilds, where Miss Emily took Scottie to buy him his new cot. Miss Bracegirdle plans to take me here to purchase what she descibes as, "appropriate clothing for a boy of my age."
